The Scissorhands is an artist focusing on contemporary collage.

Her collageworks are carefully built arrangements that often consist merely out of two picture elements. Her works create eerie dreamlike sceneries with unexpected juxtapositions of objects and parts of the body.

She is a great fan of stilllifes, flemish paintings, the art of the “pittura metafisica” and filmmaker David Lynch.

Apart from her artistic work she is also accepting works on commission, clients include the Süddeutsche Zeitung, SZ Magazin, Gala, Haus Glanz amongst others.

The Scissorhands is working and living in Munich, Germany.
